Interaction studies of metals and surfactant with protein

Metalloproteins and metal-protein complexes play key roles in all organisms. For example, certain metalloproteins are involved in metal homeostasis and detoxification, or oxidative stress protection; whereas, metals serve as essential co factors in a large number of metal-protein complexes. Advances in analytical instrumentation as well as informatics have allowed a complete characterization/assessment of both metalloprotein the identification of the protein is a key factor for understanding its physiological function, proteins and metal-protein complexes. The present book consists of the following (1) The interactions between triethanolamine, lauryl sulphate and albumin molecule. (2) The pH and diffusion current measurements on the binding of copper and mercury ions with albumin. (3) The interaction between cupric ionosed albumin molecule by physico-chemical method. (4) A polarographic study on the binding of mercury ions with albumin. (5) The interaction between anionic surfactant TEALS and albumin.
