Intensification of the process of purifying natural and waste gases from acidic components

The natural gases known to us in the republic, as well as waste process gases from production, require the removal of H2S, organic sulfur and CO2 to meet the requirements set by the specifications. Removal of H2S is necessary to ensure that the gas is not toxic and also for environmental reasons to reduce SO2 emissions at the point of consumption. In addition, today there is a strong emphasis on reducing corrosion due to H2S. In conclusion, sulfur is today a valuable raw material, the extraction of which is in any case interesting.The problem of purification of hydrogen sulfide-containing process and industrial waste gases has become important in connection with the increasing volumes of production and processing of high-sulfur gases.Thus, the development of technical solutions to reduce SO2 emissions from pollution sources has necessitated comprehensive technical and environmental monitoring.The monograph is intended for scientists and specialists working in the field of chemical technology of oil and gas processing, as well as undergraduate and graduate students, and doctoral students of the above-mentioned specialty.
