Integrated Writing Practice

In this globalized era, mastery in writing is a skill of great importance and most valuable job attribute. The writer must be able to structure and integrate information into cohesive text. In this regard, this book provides a framework for mastering cohesive writing through integrated writing practice. This practice was experimented with Indian ESL learners by reinforcing their metacognitive awareness. This course highlights students¿ meta-thinking about their own writing. This Experimental study should be useful for ESL teachers to equip their learners to be independent in the learning Process. This book also sheds light on the need for enhancing the students¿ workplace English literacy which involves keen listening, meaningful utterance, intact Writing and self-regulated thinking (Metacognition).
