Dairy production is crucial for sustainable livelihoods in most developing countries in Africa. Following increased demand for milk due to increased human population and increased income, there is need to have sound dairy production enterprises. Faced with emerging threats and challenges, the dairy farmers need to be more innovative and adopt climate-smart technologies to ensure resilience of their production units. However, there are constraints that affect the adoption of these simple climate-smart technologies, which need to be addressed by the stakeholders to ensure food security and sustainable economies of the households.
