The Information, Education and Communication (IEC) strategy for conservation of the Eastern Arc Mountains Forest (CMEAMF) in Tanzania aims at raising the level of awareness and knowledge on the importance of forests, thereby promoting behaviour change and positive attitude toward forest conservation. IEC strategy activities were piloted in four villages surrounding Mafwomero Forest Reserve, in Mpwapwa District.
