Information and Communication Technology Literacy (ICTL)

This book gives a representative overview of the ICT Literacy among Library professionals working in university libraries in western India. It provides an insight into the present literacy of library professionals in ICT based resources, services and tools, confidence of library professionals in performing various ICT related tasks, frequency of using various ICT based resources and services by the library professionals, means and methods acquired by the library professionals for enhancing ICT literacy and the constraints and obstacles faced by library professionals in enhancing ICT literacy. The book is an outcomes of the study which helps to know the present level of ICT Literacy among library professionals and enables Library Professionals to increase their efforts to enhance the ICT Literacy level. It also helps to recognize the need of training and orientation in ICT-based resources, services and tools to the Library Professionals in digital era.
