Influential Outcomes of Distribution Situations

Throughout my study I have been connected with 3rd part providers UPS and TNT(China)within warehousing,where I have had closed relationship with management with regard to optimization of distribution and transportation cost. My final thesis was to work on ¿The current distribution situations and factors that influence transportation and environmental impacts while maintaining the same customer service level, as well as how these factors will influence distribution situations¿. We have come to conclusion that ¿Fill Rate, Consolidation, Standardization and Postponement¿ were the finding factors as well as Lead Time, Changes to delivery plan, Packaging, Transportation Load carrier, tracking system; Goods of un-destined area, Direct to LSPs warehouse, etc. were outcome for their influence on distribution situations in my thesis.
