Indoline-Based Spiroheterocycles

Spiroheterocycles are by far considered one of the most important and essential compounds in the field of organic chemistry. Indoles are bicyclic heterocyclic compounds containing pyrrole ring with benzene ring fused to ¿,¿-position, which are biologically active and of significant importance in medicinal chemistry. Spiroheterocyclic derivatives incorporating indoline moiety have gained some importance in the last years. They showed remarkable anti-microbial, analgesic, anticonvulsant, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, inhibitors of human NK-1 receptor, and anti-cancer activities. Thus, the present book involves the utility of indoline derivatives in the synthesis of some spiroheterocycles with their chemical behaviors.
