Energy improvement is the most effective requirement in our worldwide. Combined cycle power plants (CCPPs) are outshining technology for electricity generation due to a doubled output power of 1.5 times the gas turbine (GT) output power, reduce gases emission value by decreasing exhaust temperature to 18% compared to the GT, and raise thermal efficiency exceeding 50%. These cycles are constructed of a gas turbine, a steam turbine and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). The combined cycle technology is now well established and offers superior efficiency to any of the competing gas turbine-based systems that are likely to be available in the medium term for large scale power generation applications.
