Improving traditional pottery making process

Knowledge production in the areas of culture and indigenous knowledge in Ethiopia is at the infancy stage. The purpose of this study was to improve traditional pottery making process in Shebadino woreda (Laku) so as to create a conducive environment for the development of inter-firm co-operation and to enhance the competitiveness, productivity and to acquire technology transfer to the study area for traditional pottery making process. The study provides the way to strengthen micro and small-scale pottery making workers by acquiring technology transfer to the Shebadino Woreda (Laku) pottery makers. By doing this, the workers competitiveness, productivity, ability to acquire technology transfer to the country and innovation capability is also improved; the continuity of these improvements in the future assists to have save work place and increase their productivity more than expected.The research findings indicated that mixed feelings. As the results shows 78.8% respondents Agreed while 16.7% undecided and 3.03% did not agreed.
