In the present-day scenario, cotton-growing farmers are facing several hurdles to improve cotton production, this may be due to unaware of the recent technologies. there have been a number of major changes in crop production technology in India during the last 10 years and this necessitated writing this book. Cotton a high price fetching crop is growing with age-old practices, but growing hybrids and high yielding cotton varieties require the proper application of fertilizers. To sustain the benefits of Bt cotton and prevent a decline in fertility of soils supporting Bt cotton, a sound nutrient management program is essential. Therefore, it is high time to emphasize on the usage of efficient forms of zinc to avoid the deficiency of zinc in soil or in crops to enhance the productivity of cotton.
