IMPACTS OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES FROM A LIFE CYCLE PERSPECTIVE

Sustainable Consumption and Production is one of the actions called for by the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation, agreed at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in 2002 in Johannesburg. Sustainable development of emerging technologies is part of the Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) paradigm which is indispensable for the well-being and survival of humanity.
