Impact of special education centres on social inclusion

With the demographic explosion, populations are increasingly faced with the emergence of new challenges, needs in economic terms (employment), food, moral (erosion of values) etc. We are witnessing a decay of the social fabric. As the basic cells of society, families are faced with the thorny issue of psychosocial and educational care for young deviants or delinquents. Consequently, educational practices with regard to them must differ because of the specificity conferred on them by this new status. Our interest is in the problem of social integration of former residents of the Gampela Special Education and Training Centre through an evaluative approach to learning. Our concern was to measure the impact of learning on the social integration process of these former residents.
