Impact of Peer Counseling on Discipline in Public Secondary Schools

Peer relations play a crucial role of enhancing discipline among students in Hamisi Sub County public secondary school. Even though Peers may influence each other positively; negative influence is a major problem that most secondary school students are battling with. Fortunately, most students are aware of this influence and are willing to seek assistance from their fellow students especially those they view as role models. Students are willing to seek advice and assistance from PCs since they consider them as friends and role models. However, when the PCs lack the required skills and thus fail to live up to the expectations of the students, majority of the students tend to despise and lose confidence in the PCs.
