Impact of Paint Industry Wastewater on Tagetes Erecta

The present study has been carried out to study the impact of paint industry wastewater (Samba Industrial Development Complex, Jammu) on Tagetes erecta L. var Pusa basanti. The various parameters studied were seed germination, growth, floral characteristics and yield of the test plant. Its a work related to how the wastewater released after the manufacture of beautiful paints affect the plant community.Industrial development is leading to loss of clean air as well as water. This is an effort towards environmental concerns. we believe development and environment should go together and not against each other. Apart from a research work it is also an effort to inculcate a sense of resposibility and belongingness among the citizens of the world.
