However, in the second half of the 20th century, some critics pointed out its problematic formulations and decided that it is better to abandon it. Because of its long, discussion filled history, the concept of ¿ideology¿ is now, almost impossible to define. This study focuses on this predicament and tries for a new definition of ideology.
