Identification of Mutagenic Particles in River Bed of Yamuna

This report focuses on the water pollution in Yamuna and addresses the issues of ¿potentiality of mutation¿, caused by the pollutants of Yamuna. The report provides a micro picture of the water pollution of Yamuna, and identified the chemicals and heavy metals, having potentiality to cause mutation. The document presents a non-exhaustive view of the water pollution scenarios at the age of current climate change domain and examines the various implications of global warming in the context of the concurrent pollution of Yamuna. The report covers the following basic objective: (a) To create a time series data statistically for year 1998 to 2007; (b) To investigate the presence of hazardous elements in water and its effect on flora and fauna ; (c) To explore the probability of bacterial growth in river water sample and their effect on Flora and Fauna, also check the presence of Helminthes eggs and its consequences.
