Hypertension and Chronic Kidney Disease

Hypertension, the leading modifiable cause of premature death, affects the great majority of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).  The book will cover the epidemiology of CKD and hypertension and provide  an in-depth review of pathophysiological mechanisms linking these conditions, as well as the implications of this association in terms of cardiovascular risk.
