Hydroclimatic characteristics of the Daoura watershed (Morocco)

After my PhD thesis, defended in 2018 on the hydrology of arid and pre-Saharan environments in southeastern Morocco (case of the Oued Daoura watershed). The book is open to a variety of comparisons. Methodological applications, essentially focused on the hydrology of the arid and pre-Saharan environments of Morocco's South Atlas basins, and typically local case studies are abundant. It illustrates the wealth of work carried out in recent years of research.The choice of the title "Hydroclimatic characteristics of the Oued Daoura basin" is a sign of the five-year commitment to arid hydrology research in the Oued Daoura watershed. This theme is a topical national and international issue.This work has enabled us to develop the concepts and mechanisms of arid hydrology linked by "rain-flow" climatic phenomena, to identify the close rain-flow relationship and its effects on the Daoura landscape, and at the same time to understand the adaptations of the local population to physical difficulties in a structurally difficult environment.
