This book views waste as an unwanted, undesirable and unsafe material. Therefore, over the years it has been found that the proper management of waste can be of help to the human race. It is against this background that the words "Waste Management" derived. The management taste to waste brought about the designing and redesigning of strategies, the deployment of human and material resources to properly execute the job, the training and retraining of managers and the measurement of set and actual performance standards on how to deal with waste. This book is, therefore, a reflection as well as a result of information gathered from research study that examines the correlation between waste and human residents, on the one hand, and the organization, collection and waste disposal authority and human residents, on the other hand.
