How to Improve the Professional Education of Skilled Workers? Project Based Learning in Technical and Vocational Education

Essay from the year 2018 in the subject Didactics - Common Didactics, Educational Objectives, Methods, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, language: English, abstract: This essay examines the question, how the professional education of skilled workers and technicians can be improved in order to solve more and more diverse professional problems and challenges.

In order to do so, the essay puts special emphasis on the method of project-based-learning. After a short theoretical introduction, this form of leaning is further explained via using a tangible example from the field of Aggricultural Sciences.

In the last part of this essay, the findings are summarized and a final conclusions as well as a quick outline of future challenges is given.
