Home Health care Services

Emerging Home care Services - Health and economic development are linked bidirectionally, with improved health promoting economic growth and economic growth promoting better health. This study seeks to find out how healthcare can be promoted using home care services. Home Care Services are becoming very popular in various advanced countries and its prevalence has brought advancement to comforts and care of people. In Indian context, it has not yet picked up. The objectives of the research study are to find out the perceptions of people in terms of merits and constraints of home care services. It explores acceptability and affordability of people willing to avail these services. The study also identifies problems, apprehensions and limitations for its development in India. The entrepreneurial opportunities available are also dealt with. The research data has been collected using a close-ended self administered questionnaire. The sample for the study on home care services was done through Convenience Random Sampling in the urban centers of India such as Delhi, Calcutta, Mumbai & Chennai. The basic statistical calculations were worked out and performed using SPSS version 1
