Beschreibung

The history of interaction between Central and South Asia is as old as the evolution of their civilisations. The history of interaction between the peoples of Central and South Asia is as old as the history of the evolution of their civilisations. Having started in ancient times, mutual multifaceted contacts continued throughout the existence of states and state formations, crossing spatial and temporal boundaries and permeating all spheres of material and spiritual life of the peoples of Central and South Asia. All this makes an extended familiarisation with the history and historiography of the complex of contacts between representatives of the two regions extremely relevant in the training of specialists in oriental studies and various fields of historical science. At the same time, through the prism of such interaction it is supposed to consider some peculiarities of the internal development of these regions, as well as to teach a young specialist to navigate independently in this subject. Despite the fact that the target audience of the proposed course of lectures are teachers and students of higher educational institutions, however, in general, it is designed for a wide range of readers interested in the history of India, Central Asian states and issues of retrospective interaction between the peoples of Central and South Asia.
