Health care delivery system in India

There have been significant advances in the health care system in India over the last few decades. Despite these recent studies the health system remains ineffective in providing the basic minimum care as promised in the Indian constitution. The fiscal constraints on the government make it obligatory for private health care providers to take over part of the responsibilities. New ways for establishing, strengthening and sustaining public-private cooperation are essential for rejuvenating the health system. At the same time decentralization exercises can make the health system more efficient and improve the quality of health care delivery. All the changes will need to be based on a strong political wall and should be accompanied by economic and social reforms. The structure of health care services and health care delivery system as provided by the government sector is impressive. There is continually striving to attain an adequate delivery system for the promotion of the health care goals and achieve these. The strengthened health care and its adequate delivery surely ensure the progress and prosperity of the country. The health which is important needs to be delivered at the doors.
