Health and Safety for Textile Industry

Occupational Health and Organizational Safety are the two dimensions to ensure the basic amenities of the industrial workers especially in the Textile industries. Textile Industries are generating more employment opportunities as well as they are the more pollutants and reason for the lung diseases and losing hearing capacity of the employees. The pollutants from the textile industry causes the infertility and mortality in females and Asthma and lung diseases in general. This book provide the detail about the health and safety measures provided by the Textile industries to their employees and the health issues faced by the employees. It provides the necessary measures to ensure the organizational safety and prevent the health of the industrial workers. For the out said, both Government and Educational institutions should jointly monitor and evaluate the health and safety measures provided by the textile industries as per Government norms periodically to ensure the occupational safety and health of the employees.
