Heads' Role in Leadership Development

The objectives of the research study were, to review the component of school leadership, to analyze the role of the school Head as an academic leader, to compare the role of male and female as well as urban and rural school heads, to assess the impact of school Head role on the teachers and learners, to identify the factors affecting the desired role of the school head, to recommend appropriate strategies for effective leadership. The research tool designed to carry out the study was three separate questionnaires. The subjects of this research study were secondary school heads, secondary school teachers, and students of class 10th. Thirty-six secondary schools were selected from three districts of Punjab Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, and Faisalabad.
