Halal Business Park Gracanica

The subject-matter of the case study is the analysis of the aim and the financial viability of establishing the Halal Business Park Gräanica which would represent a hub for halal producers on a permanent basis, enabling them to place their products on the European market, and which would assume the leading and recognized role on the European continent with regards to halal production. The main objective for this thesis was to create an analytical tool which includes recommendations and restrictions that help decision makers to determine whether the business concept is considered feasible and justified. This case study encompasses three major topics: why establish such Park, overview of halal markets and the development concept of Halal Park. First two chapters discuss reasons for establishing such Business Park in Bosnia and Herzegovina; third chapter gives a detailed overview of Bosnian, regional and European halal market, while the fourth and fifth chapters deal with the stakeholders and the development concept of the Halal Business Park Gräanica. The final chapter gives recommendations and and a detailed action plan for the Project development.
