Hadeninae of North-East India

Subfamily Hadeninae is globally known for its immense economic importance. A large number of species are pests of various agricultural crops, forest trees and ornamental plants. This book highlights the economic importance as well as significant taxonomic attributes of Hadeninae. As genitalic characters play a key role in the authentic identification of these moths, their diagnosis in this book comprises of the study of external male and female genitalia along with adult moth photographs. The findings are based on the fieldwork conducted in the tropical forests of North-east India, which covers the contiguous seven sister states i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and the Himalayan state of Sikkim. Besides this, the book dwells upon the classification of this group and its distribution.
