GUIDED ENDODONTICS

Guided endodontics, a tool in Minimally invasive endodontics helps in diagnosis, treatment planning and executing the treatment. Pulp canal obliteration, occurs as a sequelae to trauma, characterized by deposition of hard tissue within the root canal space complicates the conventional endodontic treatment . Use of dental Operating Microscope in association with endodontic guides and ultrasonic tips paved way for the removal of calcified areas in the pulp chamber and within the deep canal . Besides their role in calcified canals, their role in surgical endodontics have also been emphasized. This book enlightens us on various soft wares used for 3D printing and their role in management of calcified canals.
