Guide for the Development of Self-Esteem

It is essential that parents and teachers whom parents trust are able to transmit clear values. It is very important that students are taught the meaning of these values. Teachers must know the environment and accept it if they are to help students see these values within it. In all environments the child has the same basic needs for love and security, the right to be a person of worth and to have the opportunity to succeed. Educators should be aware of the different developmental rhythms of each child, so that the child feels comfortable with his or her own developmental capacity. We can also say that teachers can help or hinder the process by which one can find oneself. Their understanding or lack of it, can favor or make the personality that develops and is in the process of manifesting itself. This is why the educator has a lot of responsibility in this very important issue or in this question of the time necessary for one to find oneself.
