Beschreibung

The dysfunctional behaviours we have learned as a child often plays out in our lives as an adult. Growing along the way is about growing up in a dysfunctional home, and the consequences that follows. Writing my story is partly about trying to understand the people that was my family and their actions, and partly about understanding myself and the life choices I've made along the way due to my inherited behavioural patterns. It's about child abuse, grooming and the dysfunctional dynamics in a broken home and as well as Child Protective Services continuously failing at their job. It's also about becoming aware of how I, because of my unresolved trauma, created the life I had, how I allowed pain, betrayal and abuse take place as an adult, because I didn't own my issues. It's about growing into the insight of taking responsibility for the painful life I created, and thus change it for the better. It was not always pretty, or easy. Sometimes it has been messy, nasty and I have done things I shouldn't have done. But I did them anyway. By sharing my story, my hope is that others with similar complex trauma and hence self-created dysfunctional life-patterns as adults, find the courage to face the truth about where ones behaviour stems from, and how to take responsibility for everything one has created because of this. By shedding the victim-mentality and put the big-girl-panties on, one can make better choices in life.
