This book presents an assessment of groundwater resources quality and quality control parameters in a tropical setting of Ghana in West Africa. It applies conventional methods for the assessment of the major sources of variation in groundwater hydrochemistry and general quality, and further assesses the utility of this vital resource for irrigation. A numerical groundwater flow model was simulated and used to calculate groundwater budgets at the current conditions. A number of scenarios were used to make projections on the future of this resource.
