Green synthesis of 1, 3, 4-oxadiazoles under solvent free condition

Heterocycles are important constituents of natural compounds, synthetic medicines and are known to play a vital role in number of chemical and biochemical processes.1.3.4-Oxadiazoles have extensively been studied in different areas of chemistry including the pharmaceutical and other chemical industries. With respect to biological applications, these derivatives are found potent anti-inflammatory, anticancer, anticonvulsant, antitubercular, muscle relaxant, antiviral, analgesics, nervous system depressant , anti-proliferative, antiallergic, antifungal, cytotoxic agent. The book is divided in to II chapters. Introduction and Literature Review on the Synthesis of Oxadiazole Derivatives are described in chapter-I. The II chapter deals with Solid supported green synthesis and antibacterial evaluation of 1, 3, 4-oxadiazole derivatives . The method adopted for the synthesis is very clean, atom economy, efficient and require short reaction time which will be beneficial to Scientists who are working in Medicinal and pharmaceutical research.
