Green Manufacturing and Energy Efficiency

This report mainly focuses on Green Manufacturing and its technology, as well as energy efficiency. Firstly, the concept and fundamentals of green and sustainability were introduced. It was then discussed how they fit into manufacturing. Next, some Green Manufacturing designs and systems are discussed as well. Furthermore, actual Green Manufacturing that are already available in the market are also shown and discussed. They are mainly projects from Austria. Then, ways and indicators to measure the efficiency of Green Manufacturing are also presented. Apart from that, barriers of implementing Green Manufacturing are listed and discussed as well. In the following section, hardware and software design using the energy efficiency concept are also presented. Besides, processes, systems and models regarding energy saving were also discussed. Then, existing solutions to resource revolution technique were brought up for discussion. Several home based related designs using Green Technology are also shown. Finally, some questions and answers are derived from the topics discussed.
