Green Analysis of Existing Building

The book is all about Green analysis on existing building. How we can identify building wastage of energy, waste management, water, health and comfort, and its impact on environment. Using these perimeters, I have taken case study of Public-residential Building in composite climate to identify the key energy predictors for Residential Building (load bearing structure) at Gwalior. To achieve this, comprehensive energy assessment is carried out of a Public Residential building in Gwalior. Retrofitting is the process of modifying something after it has been manufactured. For buildings, this means making changes to the systems inside the building or even the structure itself at some point after its initial construction and occupation and Retrofitting in existing Buildings is done to Improve Sustainability and Energy Performance. Green practices in the existing buildings can help address national issues like water efficiency, energy efficiency, and reduction in fossil fuel use in commuting, handling of waste and conserving natural resources. Most importantly, these concepts can enhance occupant health, happiness and well-being.
