Ginger as World Medicine

In Ayurveda, ginger is also referred as ¿Vishawa Bhesaj¿, which means, Medicine for the Whole World. It means that ginger can be given to anyone living in this world and it would be suited to all. Usually ayurvedic principles state, since every person is unique in its composition of nature thus there should be always an individualization of the medicine given. At first, I thought that, this very synonym contradicts the basic of ayurvedic philosophy by prescribing the same medicine for everyone in the world. But as I dug deeper into it, I could understand that; the herb was same but the method of use and with what accompanying herbs are used changes it to an Individualized Medicine.And Yes! It is true that indeed this herb is one of its kinds. Found everywhere on earth (of course different species) and every tradition have lots to tell about its effectiveness.
