Geoinformation technologies in the training of future mining engineers

The monograph examines the issues on mining engineer training and developing their ecological competence by means of geoinformation technologies. The integrated approach to addressing the issue on developing the ecological competence of the future engineer requires the definition of its content, structure, place in the system of professional skills, levels of formation and criteria of measurement, rationale for the selection and development of methodologies for the use of information and communication technology teaching methods aimed at developing the ecological competence.
