Genome Wide Association Study: Multiple Traits in Dry Beans

This book explores the phenomics and genomics techniques and their applications for bean crop improvement, specifically foliar disease resistance, phenological traits, micronutrient content and short cooking time. The book explains results from the research study, conducted using an integrative approach with different research interests in plant breeding, pathology, genomics and food nutrition to leverage bean consumption in the world. This book shows the discoveries for the effect of genotypes by environment interaction on dry bean foliar diseases in relation to productivity, enhanced Iron and Zinc micronutrient content in seeds and short cooking time.
