With the preparation of this Manual we have come to the conclusion that it is essential for all the personnel working in the department to know the importance of applying the Quality Assurance Manual in order to obtain optimal radiographs and reduce the rejection rate, due to the low quality of the radiographic films, which will allow us to identify the main errors and establish the precise measures to reduce them, as well as saving money, The reduction of radiation doses to the patient, minimizing the number of repeated films and the reduction of time and effort, this will offer patients another image of the functioning of the Department and will provide a data base to justify requests for replacement or repair of defective equipment, the efficient use of resources, savings and the elimination of unnecessary expenses, thus responding to the health problems of our province.
