Fundamentals of Natural Radioactivity in Poultry Feedstuff

Radiation is one of the biggest yet undermined threat to human health on the planet presently. Illnesses such as cancer, asthma, bronchitis, chronic cough, allergies, weakened immune system, sleep disturbances, gastrointestinal dysfunction and degenerative diseases have been on the increase in spite of improving advances in medicine and science. This phenomenon therefore prompted me to take the queue with other researchers to conduct a deeper investigation on the area of radiation to see if an explanation could be found. "Fundamentals of Natural Radioactivity in Poultry Feedstuff" is the first of two volumes which together cover extensively and comprehensively an effective and informative assessment of the sources, causes, measurements and effects of natural radioactivity in food and poultry feedstuff. It also gives an insight into the poultry sector in Nigeria.
