Fundamental Understanding with Smart Materials

Smart materials are the new outstanding and most promising class of the materials which able to ¿sense¿ physical quantities/stimulus and after sensation ¿actuate¿ themselves called response from the materials with partial triggering or without extra triggering. Hence smart materials are the new generation of Active materials for intelligence devices applications. This book has paid major attention on literature review at global level, new types of smart materials investigated and declared for future or hypotheses, which are followed by fundamental results to application. The book also discussed shape memory polymers, conductive polymers, biophotonics, diamond-like-carbon, graphite carbon nanotubes, and their application with some modeling and simulation examples.
