The book is meant to present to the student community an introductory text on the subject of fluid mechanics and hydraulics. It has been written while keeping in mind answers to those questions that may be agitating the minds of student audiences while doing independent reading. As such, the fundamentals of the subject have been explained in the ways that will be self-explanatory to the students. The book comprises of ten chapters with each chapter divided into sections and sub-sections. All chapters of the book contained worked examples as well as questions for students to practice.
