Framework for Integrating Vertical Public Health Supply Chain Systems

This book presented a practical, systematic and contextual framework for a seamless integration of vertical public health supply chain systems. This book is a product of a qualitative thematic content analysis of the views of seasoned public health supply chain experts in Nigeria using an interpretive philosophical approach through the theoretical lens of constructivism. The central theme of the book is based on a holistic and comprehensive approach that included cost benefit analysis, justifications, and circumstances for viable integration of vertical public health supply chain systems, which are coordination, relationship management, information integration, and product integration driven by purposeful leadership, monitoring and controlling, policy-friendly environment which all together is known as the continuum of integrated public health supply chain system. This book is intended to serve as a blue print to achieve seamless integration of vertical public health supply chain systems, especially in low-and-medium-income countries.
