Fracturing and Stimulation Mechanism of Horizontal Well

In recent years, shale gas development has continuously innovated fracturing technology around geological characteristics and development needs in different stages, and realized the upgrading of shale gas fracturing concept and transformation technology. However, various shale fracturing process modes coexist with different buried depths, and the applicable boundaries of different processes are not clear, and the main ideas and leading processes are not clear. In this book, the fracturing mechanism and stimulation of shale gas horizontal wells considering the difference of geological characteristics has been studied, and the optimization plan of fracturing section length and clusters of deep shale and middle and shallow shale is obtained.
