Fostering Agricultural Extension in Kenya

The sub-sector of agricultural extension service in Kenya plays a significant role despite that it has been shaken and shaped by global events. The agricultural extension in Kenya is viewed as a one-man show where the government plays both education, marketing and agricultural field roles while the private sector is concentrated on the large-scale farmers and on demand-driven principle.
