Forensic Odontology

The book of Forensic odontology has been written to simplify the understanding of the forensic science which is a vital instrument for the detection or investigation of crime and the administration of justice, providing crucial information about the evidence found at crime scene, it is especially important that the training and education of forensic scientists provide a solid scientific background and a broad base in criminalistics. An attempt has been made to explain the concept of forensic odontology in simple language and simplest possible terms. . Awareness and applicability of Forensic Odontology in the Indian Defence Forces would be of great help for better and accurate record keeping of the dedicated and vigilant warriors of our army. These records will be of great help for easy recognition of our army men at the time of calamities, wars, and other difficulties. It would also be useful in the identification of terrorists who our country and travel easily in disguise.
