Forces and Cancer

The "New Drugs of Cancer" - Targeted Therapies - have not healed many people. The limits of Immunotherapy are already visible. After more than half a century of genetics, molecular biology and immunology, we have to admit that the laws of biology are not enough to explain the birth of cancer or to propose a therapeutic solution. Today, curing a cancer is still and first a journey involving surgery, radiotherapy and sometimes medication. Even the chronicization of certain cancers of the breast, the prostate, ... is more of the best use of old processes than therapeutic innovation. The enormous cost of these drug treatments makes the failure even more bitter. Forces & Cancer sets a principle: the laws of physics, and especially of mechanics, also apply to living tissues. This rediscovery gave rise to Physical Oncology, the subject of this work: how to integrate the laws of mechanics into the formidable achievements of contemporary biology.
