Food Security and Nutritional Status among the Rural Households'

PREFACE Study of food security and nutritional status has become an integral part of the modern approaches of social well being and population geography. The study involves cropping pattern, calorie consumption and nutritional status of rural households' concept and present and future impact of calorie consumption on nutritional condition of mother and children under age 5. This thesis has endeavored to focus on the present situation of nutritional status and the impact of socio-economic condition on calorie consumption of the rural households'. This thesis is designed to serve primarily the micro-planner to visualize the actual situation of rural households'. Like any other publication, this book/thesis may also have some limitations. I shall be grateful to the readers of this book if they highlight the limitations and omission and give their valuable suggestions for further improvements in future.
