Welcome to the 'Focus On Microscopy 2015' conference, taking place in our university city

Göttingen from March 29th to April 1st at the 'Lokhalle'. This yearly conference series was

started in 1988 by Andres Kriete in Giessen, Germany, and has over the years welcomed a

growing number of delegates and exhibitors from all over the world. FOM continues in

Göttingen with an overwhelming amount of contributions from the different fields of microscopy.

This year's special focus will be on super-resolution microscopy techniques. We congratulate

Prof. Stefan Hell with the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, and are honored that he is the

keynote lecturer of this year's conference.
