Financial Management

This students¿ Guide for Financial Management is designed for those who are following Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) at Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE). The HNDA programme is the first professional accounting course introduced in Sri Lanka. The HNDA is considered as an alternative to a B. Com degree in Sri Lanka. Financial Management is a three-credit subject in the HNDA syllabus and is taught in the first semester of the fourth academic year in the programme. This is the first edition of students¿ Guide for the course unit ¿Financial Management¿ which is a student orientated text, like short notes. This guide has been prepared based on the illustration, information and exercises given in the recommended texts of the course syllabus. Therefore, it presents fundamentals of Financial Management concepts, procedures in a logical, concise, and clear manner. This guide helps HNDA students as study Guide to understand area of study, depth and other characteristics of examination questions in the past. It may facilities students to prepare their exams with enthusiastic attitude and pass the exam effectively.
